Our lease agreement is reviewed and approved by legal counsel and operates in full compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and Alberta Minimum Housing Standards. We execute all leases on your behalf and begin the lease renewal process 90 days prior to lease expiry—so you don’t have to be involved in any part of the process.
Rent Collection
We believe that if you do not get paid, then we should not get paid either. Our goal is to ensure you are paid on time, every time.
Tenants are offered a variety of convenient payment options, including e-transfer, EFT, pre-authorized withdrawals, cheque, money order, and in-person payments. These options help ensure you receive your rental income as quickly as possible each month.
We expect rent to be paid by the first day of each month. Our accounting team tracks tenant payments daily and responds promptly to non-payments or NSF transactions.
Ninety-nine percent of our tenants pay their rent each month. In the rare case of non-payment, we maintain fair but firm rent collection policies that comply with provincial law requirements.
